What Are Implant Dentures?

Implant-supported dentures are secured to the gumline through the use of dental implants. These are often considered an upgrade from traditional dentures, and are designed to be a more comfortable and functional alternative. They are situated on a few very carefully placed implants, and can be snapped in and out of place with ease when necessary. That means no need to worry about loose dentures, slippage, or reliance on oral pastes.

What Is LOCATOR Fixed®?
LOCATOR Fixed® is a breakthrough full-arch fixed implant for our patients at Chester Dental Arts. It uses the exact same abutments as the widely trusted LOCATOR removable overdenture system, meaning that for many patients who already have LOCATOR implants in place, conversion to a permanent prosthesis can happen without any additional surgery.
The key benefit to patients is in the inserts and housing. LOCATOR Fixed® uses proprietary rigid inserts with a specialized gold housing.
The result is a prosthesis that is locked in place, permanent and never comes out.
- Minimum implants required: 4 implants
- Surgery required for existing LOCATOR patients: None in most cases
